Yes! Good point, that's a loophole in the world of these unending programs. Though there, also, I've noticed creators often try to redo the original, only changing actors/plot, but still using more or less the same hooks and twists. Not to badmouth either show, though. I'm not up to date with True Detective, and I've yet to see Fargo :)
