What a lovely story. I completely agree, though because our present society has encouraged us to believe it's all ego-centric, some find it hard to understand it's not an I-take world (the next big hit from Apple, eh?).

I totally get the cabin fever thing, and personally, I think it would be good for women to have a balance in their life. No one says you gotta pick one, though as you yourself found, where small children are concerned, sacrifices must be made. It just sucks that modern society is teaching women those sacrifices are monstrous and not worth it.

And I didn't set out to rile anyone up :D I think it's more a result of a caustic society. It will no longer do to just be online and take a moderate view, or no opinion at all in some matters. Everyone has to have a dead-certain opinion on absolutely everything.
