I don't think Google can rival lived experience, no. Yet I look at my own generation and people younger than myself and that's where I'm writing this from. Very few young people would recognize the wealth of lived experience over Google. That's because to them (and perhaps to me) Google has been, throughout life, ubiquitous. A trusted guide who can know your deepest secrets, insecurities, and queries, and share with you knowledge and "wisdom" far beyond what your parents or grandparents might be able to offer. It's from that perspective I'm writing. Not necessarily because I myself believe any of this, but because I see it as a trend around me.
