I love this comment. I was traveling when I first saw it, and I'm glad I left it for when I got back, so I could properly delve into it. Thank you for sharing all that insight!

It's very interesting to me that you should say that, as I've often wondered this myself. As I mentioned, I am not very familiar with the whole Jungian sphere, so don't want to talk out of turn, but I always perceived some conflict in Jung's insights and the way he conducted his own life.

I also really agree with what you said about philosophy. I often find myself wondering about just that, especially with all these little tags and categories on Medium. Isn't all psychology tied to philosophy? As for what you said about diagnosing the man rather than his constructed society, I love that one phrase can be so poetic and so damn accurate.
